NEW YEAR’S EVE EXTREME RODEO CHALLENGE RETURNS TO BUDWEISER EVENTS CENTER DECEMBER 31

(Loveland, CO) – Ring in the New Year with the twelfth annual First National Bank’s New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge, presented by Pedersen Toyota Volvo at the Budweiser Events Center on Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. The event returns with rodeo favorites such as saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding and bull fighting along with the family-friendly mutton bustin’.
Tickets cost $17 - $32 and go on sale Friday, September 22. Tickets can be purchased at the Budweiser Events Center Box Office, online at BudweiserEventsCenter.com or by phone at 877.544.TIXX (8499). A $125 VIP ticket will be available this year and will include floor seating in the VIP pit, an unlimited buffet and a host bar for select beverages. Child tickets are $12 for ages 2-12, and all tickets will increase $5 the day of the show. Discounts for groups of 10 or more are available by calling 970-619-4122.
After First National Bank New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge, the excitement will continue at the First National Bank Building at The Ranch for the NoCo New Year’s Bash hosted by Big 97.9. Watch the countdown to the new year with live entertainment beginning at 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge has quickly become a favorite way to ring in the New Year eight seconds at a time. This event is enjoyed by everyone from the first timer to the experienced rodeo fan. Freestyle bullfighting, the craziest event in rodeo, returns for its fifth year. This event features the meanest bulls pitted against rodeo athletes trying to outmaneuver these 1,300 pound raging animals. The wrecks are abundant and the excitement is nonstop in this battle that truly pits man against beast.
The action doesn’t stop with the freestyle bull fighting; bull riding is showcased with over 20 bull riders matching their skills against top caliber bucking stock from all over the country. Nationally acclaimed bull riders will team up with a top freestyle bullfighter forming a team that will compete for the Extreme Rodeo Challenge Championship. The teams feature two bull riders, one bareback rider, one saddle bronc rider and a freestyle bullfighter.
